The Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Malawi Posts Corporation (MPC) that will see the university opening a campus within Blantyre City.
MUST will be leasing an MPC’s Chichiri Conference Centre facilities, a move that will promote higher and accessible education in Malawi.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, MUST Vice Chancellor Professor Address Malata emphasized the significance of this milestone, saying the aim was to foster equal access to tertiary education for all, regardless of geographical location.
She highlighted MUST's plans to expand its services to all regions of Malawi, aligning with the Malawi 2063.
Postmaster General Angel Banda said the development will help boost MPC’s operations while contributing to Malawi’s increased access to higher education for individuals in and around Blantyre.
