The African Drone and Data Academy (ADDA) in collaboration with Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST) has successfully concluded a 10-day training programme for young people aged 12-17 from primary and secondary schools.

The Climate Incubation Educational programme aims to equip participants with knowledge, skills and tools to develop innovative solutions to climate change challenges.

During the certificate presentation ceremony held at MUST campus on August 27, 2024, Mclean Kumwenda, ADDA Incubator Engineer, challenged the participants to utilize their newfound skills to train others and develop innovative ideas to address climate-related challenges in Malawi.

Twenty young people participated in the training, and during the event they made presentations, showcasing innovative ideas which they developed during the training.

Rethabile Chanza, one of the participants, commended ADDA and MUST for their efforts in empowering the young generation to create sustainable solutions.

As MUST, we are proud to be part of this initiative, which aims at fostering the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs to drive Malawi's development goals.
