The Bingu School of Culture and Heritage (BISCH) at MUST has launched three social media platforms.
Disclosing the news recently, Mr Mwaona Nyirongo, a lecturer in media and communication and a member of the Language and Communication Studies Department under BISCH, said the social media platforms will the school easily reach out to its stakeholders.
"This is part of decentralising communication within MUST so that stakeholders are able to access information from the School easier. It is also one way of creating a platform for our students to practice what they are learning in class.
Nyirongo said so far they have created Facebook (https://web.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552489731052), Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/bisch_official/) and LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/company/bingu-school-of-culture-and-heritage-malawi-university-of-science-and-technology/?viewAsMember=true) accounts.
Apart from the social media accounts, BISCH also produces a newsletter and conducts seminars.
The School is also into music performance, music equipment production and ceramic production.
